Happy Cinco  De  Mayo!!

It’s me Dave  A. — I just wanted to wish you all a great day and a fun  night. And also to take a moment to thank you all for the amazing support on the new series  COMEDY UNDERGROUND. We are at the half-way  point with four more episodes to go!!!

I have been doing my best to try and promote the new shows and OPERATION  PURPLE. Last week I was out west talking it up on some great comic’s podcasts (Joe Rogan Experience, Mohr Stories with Jay Mohr, Adam Carolla Show, Never Not Funny, FitzDog Radio, Kelly Carlin, The Nerdist).  Some of these have aired, some are scheduled to air later in the month… it was tons of fun. The highlight of the week was dropping in on the  Jimmy Kimmel Show  and  CONAN. They are both great!!!  And they are super supportive of  the standup  comedy  scene… Thanks again for having me on your shows, it was a blast.

Hi, tonight’s the night!! Both the hour special ROAD WORK and the standup series COMEDY UNDERGROUND make their network debut on COMEDY CENTRAL… Finally, after months and months of editing, Both shows are gonna hit the air!!…I am nervous and excited at the same time…before I go, I just want to say a few quick words of thanks…

BIG THANKS!!! To all the clubs where I shot the special and series .. Stress Factory, Hu Ke Lau, ACME Minneapolis, Helium Philly, One Eyed Jack’s and Village Underground. All the managers and staff were amazing to me and my crew and we could not have made the shows with out you guys…xoxo

NEXT UP… To all the comics who performed on the COMEDY UNDERGROUND SERIES.. This is not my show… It is our show… All of you did me a big solid… The shows look great!!!! YOU ALL ROCKED HARDCORE…xoxoxo

Some of you already know about the charity stuff so forgive me but just to bring everyone up to speed.

I have taken $25K out of the big chunk of the coin the network gave me to make the hour special ROAD WORK and the new series COMEDY UNDERGROUND and donated it to a good cause.

OPERATION PURPLE is a summer camp for the children of veterans deployed overseas. It’s just one of the great programs run by the NATIONAL MILITARY FAMILY ASSOCIATION. Now, $25K is a lot of cash, but not enough and here is how you can help…

I am going to make another donation depending on the number of downloads, but any unauthorized use of the material in any shape or form is going to get in the way of how much I can send… So, let’s not pirate the shows!! Or misuse the material!! This is the best way to help me raise more cash for the troops and their families.

We can do this…GO USA!!!!!
