Hi, July is zipping by real quick and the Road Work Special is still going strong on Netflix. I am really lucky that the majority of the people who watched Road Work got into the raw and unfiltered style of the show. I know a lot of the material is over the top and definitely not PC. And that watching and old fat man (ME) bounce from club to club telling dirty jokes is not for everybody. But all in all, the feedback is incredible and I hope you know how much love and respect I have for all of you who come down to the clubs and support me and the other comics. MORE GOOD STUFF… We are doing another Comedy Underground LIVE show at the Village Underground on August 5th and it is gonna be a blast. I will be hosting and bringing up some of my favorite comics. Wait it gets better; Once again we will be doing a raffle for a really good cause.
CANINE COMPANIONS FOR INDEPENDENCE
Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. Canine Companions is the largest non-profit provider of assistance dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people. The result is a life full of increased independence and loving companionship.
Skilled companion dogs are trained to work with a child with a disability under the guidance of a facilitator and encourages a strong bond between the recipient and the skilled companion dog, and is responsible for the customized training needs of the dog.
Disabilities served include, but are not limited to, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, autism and Down syndrome.
A Canine Companions skilled companion can also serve as a social bridge to people who are not used to relating with a person with a disability. Not only does this kind of assistance make their physical lives easier, it boosts confidence and feelings of self-sufficiency.
So come to the show, buy a bunch of tickets. These kids need our help. Its gonna be a great night. and I hope to see yah there.
